Villa d'Este

The Renaissance masterpiece created for Cardinal Ippolito II d'Este in the mid-16th century: a terraced garden famous worldwide for its hundreds of fountains and water features, from the spectacular Organ Fountain to the Avenue of the Hundred Fountains. A UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2001.

Villa Adriana

The residence Emperor Hadrian built for himself in the 2nd century at the foot of Tivoli: over one hundred hectares including the Canopus with its reflecting pool, the Maritime Theatre and the great baths. The best-preserved imperial complex of the Roman world, UNESCO-listed since 1999.

Villa Gregoriana

The romantic park created for Pope Gregory XVI and now managed by FAI: paths overlooking the Aniene gorge, the Great Waterfall, the caves of Neptune and of the Sirens and, above, the temples of Tivoli's acropolis.

The historic centre

Medieval lanes, the 15th-century Rocca Pia fortress, the Cathedral of San Lorenzo and the temples of Vesta and of the Sibyl overlooking the valley: a town founded, according to tradition, even before Rome.

Sanctuary of Hercules Victor

One of the largest sanctuaries of Roman Italy (2nd century BC), built overhanging the Aniene along the ancient Via Tiburtina: today it hosts visitor routes and cultural spaces.

The Terme di Roma

The sulphurous Acque Albule waters, known since antiquity, 400 metres from the hotel: thermal pools, treatments and wellness at the historic baths of Tivoli Terme.

Rome in 20 minutes

The capital is around the corner: by car on the A24 or by train from Tivoli Terme station you reach the centre of Rome in about twenty minutes, returning in the evening to the quiet of Tivoli.
